sustainability policy
-
At Whatever Brands, we understand the importance of sustainability in our product development, in fact we set measurable targets that help protect people, communities, and the planet.
We are committed to making a positive impact on the world and are already on the road to becoming a certified B Corp.
In addition, we work with charitable causes and brands to create limited edition products as part of our and our clients’ CSR programs, raising awareness and money for good causes.
Making the difference, 1 step at the time with Human Nature
Whilst making great snacks, we drive true on-the-ground change within six core issue areas: climate, food, land, pollution, water, and wildlife through our partnership with 1% for the Planet. We donate 1% of Human Nature towards the Planet Impact Fund, supporting other organisations who want to build a sustainable world.
Our commitment
Better ingredients
We are continuously improving our ingredient sourcing practices. We regularly review our suppliers and seek out new partnerships with companies that share our values. By sourcing better ingredients, we can create products that not only benefit our customers but also help protect the environment.
We create products that are cruelty-free and free from animal derivatives. Many of our products are certified by the Vegetarian and Vegan Society.
We actively seek natural and innovative ways to eliminate harmful ingredients in our products.
We promote the use of plant-based ingredients, which not only benefit the environment but also encourage healthier living. By doing so, we are contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation.
New forests, more jobs
We work with local organisations and farmers to plant new forests, which provide a habitat for wildlife, help to combat climate change, and create more fair-paid green jobs while supporting the local economy.
More sustainable packaging
Our commitment to forest-friendly practices goes beyond just planting trees. We ensure that our wood and paper-based materials are responsibly sourced and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
We are exploring new materials such as biodegradable straws, paper packaging and glass bottles. We are also working to reduce the amount of packaging we use without compromising the protection of our products.
We are also passionate about protecting our waters and we work with partners that collect plastic bottles from oceans.
